Micro Urbanism

Micro-Urbanism is looking at the vulnerable and insignificant side of contemporary cities around the world. These forgotten and often being abandoned areas of everyday life under urban design and capital driven development are, in fact, holding the genuine quality of each city. Taking Kaoshioung as an example, we plan to identify the micro-zones embedded in the original landscape of Kaoshioung and to further propose tactics in relation to micro-zones to transform existing megastructures. In order to reach a new equilibrium of urban condition, the subversion is necessary, especially for the life of common people living in Kaoshioung.

THERE ARE REASONS TO TURN THINGS OVER
